Bible Verse | Group Seeks Speaker's Resignation
January 17, 2012 – 11:57 am(WIBW/KAKE) – A Wichita group wants Kansas House Speaker Mike O’Neal to resign.
“Speak Out Kansas” members are upset over an email O’Neal forwarded that featured a controversial bible verse aimed at President Barack Obama. Group members say the context made it seem he was praying for the President’s death.
O’Neal says he apologizes if he offended anyone. He says he only was hoping for a change in administrations in the November election.
